On May 29, I was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join other educators at the US Department of Education for edcampUSA.
I have been called an edcamp junkie. I love edcamps because of the collaboration of ideas and the communication between educators.

Whenever people from different locations come together, we like to simplify connection by talking about things that are the same and things that are different. Teachers can easily meet and complain about how we don't get paid enough, how we don't have technology, how education needs to be fixed...But these educators were positive agents of change in their classroom, school, district, and higher ed environment.
I loved connecting with @tbbrwn for the first time in person in the two years we have tweeted! I did a Google Hangout with his pre-service teachers at Oklahome State University. It's so refreshing to meet people at different levels in education who want to make education better.
Everything can always be made better. Life is a process and we are only in the middle of it. There is more to come.
